Job Description



Malibu Events is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. As the Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded throughout the event planning process. With a competitive salary range of $54,000 - $69,000 per year and full benefits, this is your opportunity to play a key role in bringing our clients' visions to life and creating unforgettable memories.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate. Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and feedback, providing timely and personalized support to address their needs and concerns.

  2. Event Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints. Develop customized event proposals, timelines, and budgets, and work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of all aspects of the event.

  3. Budget Management: Manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Provide transparent and accurate financial reporting to clients, highlighting areas of potential cost savings and opportunities for value-added services.

  4. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary services and resources for events. Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  5. Event Logistics: Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, décor, entertainment, and transportation. Anticipate and address potential challenges or issues proactively to ensure smooth and successful event operations.

  6. Client Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations at every stage of the event planning process. Solicit feedback from clients following events and incorporate insights into future planning and service improvements.
