BANK SERV REP BOC

Description/Job Summary

The banking services department is responsible for all processes regarding Non-Post and NSF accounts.  Coordinates the processing of on us return items and is responsible for processing the charge-back notices.  Reviews various reports.  High School or equivalent required.  Banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities/Duties

  1. Responsible for locating and correcting all DDA/COD/SAV/LAS/DDL/FMS for all items that non post and the reconcilement of the account. 

  1. Processes both incoming and outgoing return items along with high dollar notification

  1. Processes garnishments and levies and reclamations customer account

  1. Prints, reviews for accuracy, and mails customer interest checks.

  1. Processes all ACH disputes and reclamations and resolves all incoming ACH returns.

  1. Maintains all return mail, dormant accounts and customer accounts (may include KMN account maintenance).

  1. Verifies maintenance and new account input for Stop Payments and 1099.  Works with branches and customers when information is not correct.

  1. Opens and changes General Ledger accounts according to Standards.

  1. Files accounting reports such as FR2900 with Fed each week. Balances backup withholding and make IRS payment each week. 

  1. Completes research requests for CO Banks and helps resolve service issues for our customers.

  1. Processes Collection Items – domestic and foreign.

  1. Reviews various reports including:  Positive Pay, Suspect Kiting/ Security Exceptions and Account Exception reports.  Makes necessary correcting entries.

  1. Rate Changes for all Institution 13 branches

  1. Regular and reliable attendance.

  1. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
