Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Overview:
As the HR Generalist for this manufacturing company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from job postings to onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
2. Payroll and Benefits:
- Process and oversee payroll functions accurately and on time.
- Work with insurance brokers to select and manage employee benefits.
- Administer disability, COBRA, and other related programs.
3. Compliance and Policies:
- Stay current on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Oversee the completion of Form I-9 for new hires and ensure compliance with all immigration laws.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
4. Employee Relations:
- Address employee concerns and conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct investigations and provide resolutions in compliance with company policies.
5. Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance review processes.
- Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and enhance employee development.
6. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs.
- Support career development initiatives for employees.
7. Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and social activities.
- Plan and coordinate team-building events, recognition programs, and other activities to enhance workplace morale.
8. Employee Surveys:
- Design and conduct employee surveys to gather feedback on the workplace environment.
- Analyze survey results and implement strategies to address areas for improvement.
9. HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
