Job description

Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience Associate's Degree plus two (2) years of administrative/secretarial experience Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Demonstrated excellent customer service and organizational skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires standing under 1/3 of the time, walking under 1/3 of the time, and sitting up to 2/3 of the time Required to talk or hear over 2/3 of the time Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative and support services within the Cop2Cop and First Responder programs Assists in the planning and support of program activities and coordinates office operations Responsible for providing administrative, analytical, computing and staff support for the department Prepares and maintains payroll and attendance records for the department Attends and/or coordinates meetings and conferences relevant to programs Provides assistance to the Secretary II positions as needed under the direction of the Program Administrator Benefits: Annual Minimum Salary Annual Mid Range Salary 27.510 Annual Maximum Salary Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees
