deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Junior System Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment with peers to develop system architecture in the MBSE tool Cameo, decompose Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS) into system or product requirements, and develop Verification documentation for the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS). Coordinate your workday with lead engineers within program processes and participate in model team meetings, including customer focused meetings/demonstrations as required.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years with bachelor's degree, or 0+ years with Master's degree
• Experience working within the 'Systems Engineering V'
• Experience using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience/Exposure to MBSE Tools and Methods (specifically CAMEO and DOORS)
• Experience with creating SysML
• Experience decomposing Requirements to the system or product level

Special Skills Desired:

• System Architecture modeling experienced with Cameo experienced preferred
• Advanced experience with Model Based System Engineering and related tools
