Job description
One of our manufacturing clients in Woodbridge , ON region is looking for an Industrial Electrician for their facility.
Shift - 12 hour continental rotating shifts
Responsibilties:
Responsible for maintaining and repairing plant utilities, machinery, and equipment to prevent issues.
Troubleshoot and address machinery problems as they arise.
Program machinery and processes within the company.
Follow maintenance management software procedures for preventative maintenance, work orders, and spare part purchasing.
Wire new panels and modify existing machinery as necessary.
Provide reports on work performed and time spent to the Maintenance Manager.
Program PLCs and handle the selection, installation, and repair of bussways, conduit, cable troughs, wires, and communication cables.
Interpret and modify various technical drawings, including ladder logic, distribution, mechanical architectural, fluid power, alarm system, visual equipment, and instrumentation.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting systems, measure illumination levels, and manage emergency lighting.
Perform all other relevant duties.
Qualifications:
442A Electrician certificate required,
443A Millwright an asset,
PLC programming experience is advantageous.
