We are looking for an InternalCommunications Managerto join our Business Strategy team, reporting tothe director of Corporate Communications.In this hands-on role, you will ensure all Bloxers understand our current business strategy, key company priorities, and the role employees play in helping ensure the company’s success.You will use your innate curiosity to understand the details and impact of our strategic key initiatives, making connections across the business to create and execute creative and strategic communication plans.

You’re the ideal candidate if you are a strategic communicator with internal comms experience in cybersecurity, networking or cloud product enviroments.  You understands both the macro and the micro impact of a change. You work seamlessly across departments, successfully translating business goals into desired employee outcomes.You are cooperative rather than competitive, willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done and are always open to new ideas.

What you’ll do:

• Develop clear, engaging employee communication across a variety of media that drive awareness of our strategy, priorities, and progress
• Partner with the director of Communications to ensure communication across programs and initiatives is consistent with corporate messaging and timelines 
• Build credibility and earn the trust of leaders by counseling on best practices, messaging, tone, etc. 
• Partner across organizations to support large, highly visible programs 
• Measure and improve the effectiveness of messaging, channels, and practices 
• Influence stakeholders to ensure communications are compelling, clear, and aligned with our communication standards (messaging, tone, schedule, etc).   
• Co-create and ghostwrite clear and engaging messaging to support key programs and initiatives.  
• Work as part of a cross-functional communications team to ensure alignment on corporate-level messaging throughout the business 

What you’ll bring:

• 10+ years of combined internal/corporate communications and change management experience, preferably for cybersecurity, networking or cloud companies 
• Demonstrated experience creating and executing organization-wide communications and communication strategies 
• Portfolio of writing samples and successful business communications campaigns, showcasing ability to translate technical concepts into broadly accessible language 
• Ability to develop and maintain trust with all levels of the organization 
• Broad thinking that can make connections across the business  
• Exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills with a meticulous eye for detail 
• Demonstrated experience in change management, helping organizations lead employees through rapid change 
• Self-starter characteristics, a high degree of self-direction and independent drive 
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience 
• Bachelors in English, journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or similar 

 
What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

• Build credibility and earn the trust of key leaders across the company  
• Understand and become familiar with the company strategy and key strategic initiatives, including the impact on stakeholders
• Successfully develop and execute strategic communication plans 

After about a year, you will…

• Become a trusted communication partner and advisor to internal clients  
• Understand the connective tissue between strategic programs and how they support of the company strategy.   
• Help employees understand what’s happening across all areas of the business
