Job Title: Sr. SDE(Python)

Location : Sunnyvale, CA/Hybrid

• Design Technologies Group Lab 128 manages various software tools and services for hardware engineering teams within Lab126 These services serve broad areas around High-Performance Compute, Desktop Virtualization, License Management, Simulation Data Management and Al/ML Infrastructure will be joining a strong team with a great work environment, with an opportunity to lead the technology and product decisions we make on behalf of these interesting customer challenges.

• The ideal candidate should have experience in building distributed systems, with strength on infrastructure concepts. In addition to strong technical knowledge, the ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced start-up like environment and be passionate about solving ambiguous problems.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, testing, and delivery of solutions.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Work directly with customers and dependencies to ensure quality delivery
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows based systems with proficiency in Bash and Power Shell scripting
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like ReaciJS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of object-oriented Python programming and Web Services/API development experience.
• 2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, buid processes, testing, and operations experience
• Foundational understanding of core AWS services around Compute, Networking, Storage and Security

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AWS Certifications: AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation such as CloudFormation and CDK
