Position

Fresh offers a hybrid working schedule with three fixed days in office, and two days remote. This role is based in our Jersey City Office.

We are a Purchasing team that brings value to our organization by procuring the goods, raw materials & services required to operate the organization effectively. Ultimately, the purchasing process impacts the product quality and helps in optimizing costs in the value chain by identifying key suppliers to meet these requirements. While supporting our internal partners cross function, our Purchasing team is collaborative, team spirited, proactive, progressive and solutions oriented.

Your Impact to the role:

• Contribute to the fresh sourcing strategy as a key partner to the Packaging innovation team:
• • Attend the New Product Development meetings
  • Lead costs estimates of different design options
  • Manage a competitive Request for Quotation process among a vendor selection from the global purchasing strategy.
  • Negotiate the best pricing conditions based on an understanding of components price break down, technical specifications and quality requirements.
  • Ensure to respect timing and approved conditions until the end of the development
• Suggest and achieve targeted project costs by proposing a total supply chain cost optimization and product value analysis.
• Develop and propose improvements on the purchasing processes to achieve a low carbon footprint
• Develop and maintain a strong partnership among Packaging Vendors
• Organize Suppliers’ innovation meetings.

• Strong knowledge of our ERP system
• Strong knowledge of our New Product Launch Process
• Lead the holiday program discussions with our teams
• Lead initial negotiations with the vendors
• Able to lead supplier innovation presentations
• Lead calls with our China team

Profile

WHO YOU ARE

You have:

• 3-4 Years of Experience Required in purchasing or a related field, ideally in the beauty industry

You are:

• A self-starter, driven for results
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally through strong written and verbal communication
• Capable of managing complex projects and multiple priorities

You possess:

• Excellent verbal, written communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• The ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• The ability to work with integrity, a sense of trust and a high level of motivation

The salary range for the role is $85,000 - $95,000
