Manager of Quality & Continuous Improvement

What You Will Do:
The Quality Manager will lead the effort to drive best in class performance in Quality, ensuring we are meeting customer, Company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Leadership
- Lead and develop a high performing team, promoting a culture focused on success and emphasizing respect, trust and empathy.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to enhance the customer relationships and oversee customer returned warranty work.
Quality
- Develop and manage overall quality control programs for the site and implement metrics to support attainment of highest quality products.
- Drive the site ISO efforts to ensure annual reviews and compliance.
- Partner with Supply Chain Management on supplier quality development and improvement objectives.
- Drive" effectiveness of the QMSA/ISO systems" to meet and exceed current and future business needs .
- Manage the company Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing both the quality assurance (QA) and quality control and inspection (QC) team.
- Oversee, motivate, mentor and evaluate Quality and Inspection employee performance.
Automate inspection and quality data entry, procedures and processes. - Monitor quality activities to ensure company s products comply with quality standards (i.e.: dimensional inspection of components, outgoing inspection of finish products, incoming inspection of purchased items)
- Represent the organization in customer audits and coordinate audit finding responses.
Prior experience working in Quality Management - Experience writing work procedures / work instructions.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) / designing for quality and improvement.
- Presentation skills you will present solutions to the team and sometimes to customers.
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools
- What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or operations fields; Associates and equivalent work experience
- At least five (5) years’ experience in Quality Management Systems at a manufacturing organization
- LEAN Sigma black belt
- At least three to five (3-5) years' experience in Leading CI Teams/Implementing the use of the 14 basic lean tools.
- Thorough knowledge of international standards such as: ISO9001, IATF16949; ISO14001
- Bonus if you have knowledge of brazing, welding, and other processing techniques for the manufacturing of heat exchangers.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, collaborative, solution and customer focused.
