Senior Credit Analyst

As a Barclays Senior Credit Risk Analyst of Existing Customer Analytics, you will be responsible for analytics and valuation of Strategic initiatives that USCB offers to existing credit card members. In close collaboration with Customer Office division of USCB, this is an opportunity for you to determine optimal program targeting strategy to achieve USCB’s profitability goals, shape analytical test & learn agenda, and continuously monitor program’s performance.

What will you be doing?
• Defining and executing in-depth data analysis of existing customers to identify profitability growth opportunities to support the overall USCB business objectives
• Developing P&L business cases to support Existing Customer Management (ECM) Programs specific to credit line management and risk mitigation related
• Identifying gaps and areas for enhancements in reporting infrastructure
• Being responsible for designing, executing, and reading results of the tests rolled out for the ECM programs specifically line management and portfolio risk mitiagtio strategies
• You will be responsible for analysing and Valuating Strategic initiatives that USCB offers to existing card members
• Being responsible for determining the optimal program targeting strategy to help with profitability goals
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical /statistical discipline is required (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research or related quantitative)
• At least two years of data analysis experience with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information and insights in financial services, insurance, or marketing
• Solid understanding of financial profit and loss (P&L) constructs, individual P&L components, and their interactions
• Knowledge and working experience with statistical/Business Intelligence software such as SAS, Python, SQL, Tableau and MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) is required

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Over three years of Credit cards, retail bank or lending financial services industry experience is preferred
• Master's degree in analytical/statistical discipline is preferred (e.g. Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research or related quantitative)
• Credit risk strategy experience is preferred
