Roles and Responsibilities: - Installation, preventative maintenance, functional testing, and operation of:
- Standard security and surveillance enclosures, mounts, racks, etc.
- Access control, intrusion detection, and surveillance hardware and devices.
- Servers, workstations, clients, etc.
- Typical network and communications equipment.
- Creation of documentation detailing the above
- Install and terminate Copper and fiber data communications cable and connectivity
- Set up and program security, access control, intrusion, audio-visual, and CCTV system communications network
- Perform system troubleshooting
Requirements: - 3 years experience installing low-voltage systems
- Experience installing Lenel, Avigilon
- Knowledge of low-voltage electronics, components, and wiring
- Basic understanding of IP Addressing
- Experience with installation and configuration of access control, intrusion detection, and video surveillance software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance
- Ability to complete drug and background verifications
- Capability to travel approx. 10%
- Provide your basic hand tools and understand the operation and safety of project-specific tools
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Preferred: - Avigilon certifications
- Strong understanding of Communications Networks
- Basic Networking Principles
- System integration experience
- Previous experience working with federal government agencies
