Job description

Seeking an experienced in-house Biomedical Equipment Technician Level II.

All applicants MUST have

• qualified experience as a biomedical equipment technician.
• AS Degree: Electronics/Biomedical/Related OR Relevant Military Training.
• BMET certification (CBET) not required but preferred,
• Minimum experience - 4-8 or more years working as BMET with increasing responsibilities & training, in hospital or field service environment, on a wide variety of complex technical medical equipment. Minimum of 4-8 years successful work history repairing and maintaining biomedical equipment in a hospital setting.
• Must have knowledge and abilities to repair general x-ray equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic principles and ability to interpret technical diagrams for a variety of devices. Understanding of Basic anatomy and physiology related to functions of biomedical equipment.
• Good English language skills to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external staff.
• PC software proficiency (MS OUTLOOK,WORD, EXCEL preferred).
• Excellent references and demonstrated quality customer service skills.
• Current knowledge of Joint Commission standards, other regulations, healthcare safety protocols, etc.
• History of attention to detail and on-time paperwork completion.
• Ability to report reliably to work, with minimal supervision.

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without Visa sponsorship.
