Job Overview:
The purpose of Zaxby’s Utilities workers is to assist in preparation of work areas, food products and daily maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant equipment. Utilities employees are required to adhere to Zaxby’s prep and cleaning guidelines. Utilities employee will also support FOH and BOH as needed.

Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
• Utilities crew members will report directly to Manager on Duty
• Knowledge of Zaxby’s Menu Display Screen and how to read order modifications
• Knowledge of Zaxby’s menu and preparation of food items
• Knowledge of Zaxby’s cleaning procedures
• Knowledge of Zaxby’s food safety procedures
• Knowledge of prepping procedure for both food products and equipment
• Thoroughly inspect equipment daily to ensure proper functions
• Proper holding and storage of all food items per Zaxby’s guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of back pad and dumpster areas
• Maintain cleanliness of dish area including proper storage of material and utensils
• Assist with front-of-house (FOH) responsibilities as necessary (ie..bagging orders, expediting orders, FOH prep, cleaning)
• Assist with back-of-house(BOH) responsibilities as necessary(Ie, taking orders, collecting payment, expediting orders, cleaning lobbies and outside areas)
• Unpack and store incoming inventory using proper labeling and storage guidelines
• Report to management any malfunctioning equipment or depletion of inventory as needed
• Ensure that kitchen operation and hygiene procedures meet Zaxby’s food safety regulations
• Sweep and mop restaurant areas as needed
• Clean restrooms as needed
• Sweep the parking lot as needed
• Provide superior customer service to both guests and co-workers at all times
• Work with co-workers as a team. Be willing to work at outside events in which Zaxby’s is participating
• Enthusiastically promote the Zaxby’s brand
