Business Intelligence Developer
My client is a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to make informed business decisions. I am seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join their expanding team. If you have a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights and possess expertise in ETL, SQL, Data Modeling, and Visualization, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our SQL databases.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting, ensuring efficient and accurate retrieval of information.
- Develop and maintain robust data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that BI solutions align with business objectives.
- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, consistency, and accuracy through data profiling and cleansing activities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of BI strategies and best practices to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in BI technologies, bringing innovative ideas to the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on ETL, SQL, Data Modeling, Planning, Reporting, and Visualization.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL databases, with a deep understanding of database structures and concepts.
- Expertise in data modeling principles, creating logical and physical data models to support reporting and analytics.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as [mention specific tools], and the ability to translate complex data into easily understandable visuals.
- Familiarity with TM1 or similar tools (SAP BPC, Oracle Essbase, HFM, OneStream, Anaplan) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of business planning and forecasting processes, and their integration with BI solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
