Job description
We are currently expanding our team and looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic organization in Southlake, TX, US! This full-time position requires expertise in QuickBooks and involves a variety of accounting and finance-related responsibilities, as outlined below. The successful candidate will be based in our office. Responsibilities: * Perform various accounting and finance-related duties * Utilize QuickBooks extensively * Contribute to the growth and success of the organization Requirements: * Strong proficiency in QuickBooks * Previous experience in accounting or finance roles * Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks * Ability to work effectively in a team environment Join our team as an Accounting Specialist and be a valuable asset in our organization's growth and success!
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, performing reconciliations, maintaining vendor accounts, monitoring vendor W-9 forms, generating annual 1099s to vendors, and other finance-related obligations
- Must have bookkeeping, general accounting, and Quickbooks software experience
Qualifications:
- Well-organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively with staff and public
- Work independently
- Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
- Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work setting
- At least one year of experience in finance
- Experience in Excel and QuickBooks
- Superb attention to detail
- Experience with Odoo ERP a plus
