WaferWire Cloud Technologies is looking for a Designer who, at the core, thrives working deep inside design systems to build elegant and seamless UI experiences. This person will play a pivotal part in directly influencing and contributing to the Fluent 2 Figma UI kits that are used across our product teams.

Job Description:
- This role is pivotal in empowering designers and developers to co-create cohesive, accessible, and engaging user experiences across various products and platforms. It involves delving deep into design systems to construct elegant and seamless UI experiences, particularly focusing on influencing and contributing to the Fluent 2 Figma UI kits used across product teams. Responsibilities include collaborating on UI kits and components, optimizing existing components within the Fluent Design System, and ensuring consistency across libraries. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the extended Fluent design team and make a significant impact on enhancing UI kits for designers across the organization.
Requirements
- Advanced Figma experience with Auto Layout, subcomponent structures, and variables.
- Exceptional attention to visual detail, typography, and layout.
- Experience with design systems, including managing Figma component lifecycle and UI kits.
- Strong foundation in design principles and systems thinking.
- Collaborative skills to work effectively with design, engineering, and research teams to create and deliver world-class design components and documentation.
What you will do
- Contribute directly to the Fluent 2 Figma UI kits used horizontally across multiple product teams.
- Work alongside a team of designers to develop and deliver world-class components, patterns, and design documentation.
- Engage in the creation and iteration of components, file structure, and usage guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing patterns, making improvements as needed.
