We are seeking someone who wants to make that difference in our Human Resources office as a Credentialing and Insurance Enrollment Specialist.

So, what will you do? The Credentialing Specialist is vital to ensuring our healthcare providers are competent and qualified to safely meet the needs of our patients by tracking and verifying licensure, training, and other qualifications. The role also ensures accurate and up-to-date information is provided to various Payers allowing for the timely reimbursement of our services.

Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy are very important to this role. You will maintain our internal provider files to include up-to-date information needed to complete the required governmental and commercial payer credentialing and re-credentialling applications. You will also have a key role in new hire credentialing to ensure that newly hired providers are able to patient face quickly.

What qualifications do you need to be considered for this role? This is a very detailed oriented role. You must have at least an associate degree, preferably in healthcare or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a credentialling role such as a medical administrative work, insurance billing or in a credentialing capacity. Highly desired is someone who has one or more years of experience working in a managed care, hospital, or medical office environment, as well as one or more years of healthcare credentialing with primary source verification and associated credentialing processes experience.
