LimnoTech seeks a part-time intern based in our Ann Arbor office, beginning in February 2024. The intern will support a project involving data migration to a client’s internal water stewardship database, to ensure the data are accurately uploaded. The intern will coordinate closely with the project manager and will be expected to communicate findings in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities Responsibilities are expected to include:
- Data review and verification
- Data entry
- Discussing findings with the LimnoTech project manager to resolve any data-related issues
This position is expected to start in February 2024 and last through May. We anticipate approximately 10 hours/week over this period. Specific work hours are flexible and some work can be conducted remotely; however, the intern will be encouraged to spend a portion of their time in our Ann Arbor office during regular business hours, to facilitate training and communication with other team members.
Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- Skills and experience in data management and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required.
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills are a necessity.
- Experience with programming is helpful, but not required.
- Must be legally able to work in the U.S. (proper documentation required).
Compensation: This is a paid hourly position, anticipated as approximately 10 hours per week. Compensation is commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
