Your Role and Responsibilities
As the VP of Finance, you will spearhead our finance team, leading efforts in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and tax compliance. Reporting directly to the CEO, your role will be pivotal in shaping our strategic direction and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft and oversee financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheets, and cash flows.
Collaborate with the CEO and other executives on strategic initiatives to propel the business forward.
Establish and maintain rigorous policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Conduct audits and liaise with external auditors to confirm financial status.
Work closely with various departments to integrate financial strategy with company operations.
Serve as a key point of contact for tax accountants, auditors, bankers, insurance brokers, and legal counsel.
Lead the recruitment, training, and development of the finance team.
Leverage data to enhance decision-making and operational efficiencies.
Engage in investor relations, including communication with the board and drafting fundraising materials.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 15 years in Accounting and Finance, with a proven track record in a high-growth environment.
At least 10 years of experience in startups, investment banking, venture capital, or private equity.
Demonstrated leadership in managing financial growth and fundraising efforts.
Experience with ERP implementation and financial transformation.
Strong leadership, management, and strategic planning skills.
Experience in mergers and acquisitions.
A commitment to financial best practices, process improvement, and automation.
