If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute your skills and knowledge our client has an opportunity for an HR Assistant .
In this role you will be responsible for performing the below administrative human resource tasks on a confidential and professional level while under the supervision of the HR Partner.
- Responsible for creating virtual and printed files for active employees
- Accurately purge files for terminated employees based on the company records retention policy
- Scan, upload, and track Restrictive Covenant Agreements into Workday (HRIS)
- Support w/ full cycle associate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer biweekly payroll audits and monthly OSHA hours worked reporting. HRIS transactions and processing
Salary: $DOE/ hr (4-month contract)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am 4:30pm
Location: Carlsbad, CA

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required!
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology or related field - Preferred!
- Previous experience working in an HR Assistant / admin support / clerical role Preferred!
- MS Office Proficient / Intermediate (Work, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Previous experience using Workday A Plus!
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast past environment meeting deadlines
- Must be able to work independently w/ little supervision for routine tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills (polished and professional)
- Language: English
- Skills to be successful - strong collaboration and teamwork skills, attention to detail/ accuracy, organizational skills, strong initiative and accountability
- Ability to adhere to company policies and guidelines
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
