A leading enterprise in Wilmington, DE, is seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering cutting-edge platforms that align with business requirements. As an Infrastructure Manager, you will ensure adherence to corporate policies, maintain high-quality service for application platform infrastructure, and manage multiple priorities to support corporate initiatives.
Responsibilities: - Deliver platforms aligned with Business/Application delivery team requirements.
- Adhere to corporate policies, ensuring quality of service for application platform infrastructure.
- Manage multiple priorities to support corporate initiatives.
- Continuous development of efficient processes and automation.
- Ensure compliance with Operational Processes: Daily Operations, Change Management, and Problem Management.
- Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential.
- Follow and document processes, ensuring systems meet defined SLA's and implementing established security standards.
- Lead or participate in (un)planned maintenance outages with well-organized execution.
- Perform and report statistics for team and system health checks.
- Respond to customer/client requirements, developing/implementing programs or technical solutions.
- Adhere to defined service level agreements.
Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum of seven years of technology management experience in an enterprise IT environment.
- Experience with performance reviews, hiring, and mentoring a team of technology professionals.
- Seven years of experience in infrastructure technology.
- Experience supporting technology in OpenShift, Linux, or Windows OS.
- Engineering experience in networking, storage, firewalls, and load balancing.
Preferred Skills and Experience: - Skills in Ansible and Ansible Tower for automation of code deployments.
- Experience supporting a variety of operating systems and cloud technologies.
- Experience supporting applications in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Azure).
- Knowledge of platform, virtualization technologies, cloud technologies, and container technologies.
