Complaints Specialist
Eden Prairie, MN | Contract 6 months (potential to extend) | $30-45/hr
Konik is partnering with a local medical device manufacturing company that is seeking to add a contract Complaints Specialist to their team due to a backlog. It is possible for this contract to be extended in to next year, but not guaranteed. This is an early to mid career position, on-site five days a week.
What you could be doing:
- Conducting thorough complaint investigations, ensuring appropriate conclusions, and adhering to established procedures for timely closure.
- Collaborating with operational departments such as Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering to identify and address the root causes of complaints, ensuring effective resolution.
- Directly engaging with customers to investigate and resolve complaints, demonstrating a customer-centric approach.
- Contributing to the development of training materials and process enhancements related to complaints management.
- Facilitating complaint sample returns for inspection/investigation, as required.
- Active participation in quality management system meetings focused on complaints and complaint handling.
- Performing all duties in accordance with industry regulations, standards, and the company's Quality Systems.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Sciences or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1 or more years of product complaint investigation experience with a degree, and 2-5 years without
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and information databases.
- Knowledge of GMP, ISO, QSR, and other relevant international regulations and standards.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Customer service-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, organize data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Background in manufacturing processes for sterile pharmaceutical products and drug-device combination products is a plus.
Willingness to travel between sites as needed.
