Office Location: Irving, Texas

Level: 3+ years Recruitment experience

Department: Enterprise

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Leader

Supervises: N/A

Position Summary:

As a Recruitment Specialist of KAI, you will play a vital role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent in the design, engineering, and construction industry.

Essential Functions

  1. Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and project requirements.
  2. Building and maintaining a network of potential candidates through various channels.
  3. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  4. Continuously develop networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline of candidates and the ATS company brand.
  5. Staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and talent availability.
  6. Recruit and perform talent acquisition activities such as resume & phone screens, candidate interviews, recommend final selection of applicants and close qualified candidates.
  7. Representing the company at industry events and participating in networking activities.
  8. Respond timely to internal and external applicant situations, and applicant requests as required.
  9. Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  3. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  4. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative .
  5. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  6. Ability to assess candidates' technical skills and cultural fit.
  7. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software .

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
  2. At least three years of recruitment experience.

Physical Requirements

  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
