Description:

This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all inventory balances across multiple sites. Maintain monthly reconciliations to track all inventory movements of products including all receipts in, shipments out, and scrap. Support IT in maintaining product mapping and further automation of inventory control processes. Work with Quality to track all scrapped inventory and ensure all appropriate supplier credits are submitted and accounted for. Provide status on inventory balances and communicate issues to management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain inventory reconciliations by product and site
• Prepare support and documentation for inventory adjustments in SAP
• Prepare inventory status reporting for weekly inventory meetings
• Support IT and Sales Administration teams by identifying any discrepancies in inventory balances
• Track scrapped inventory and related supplier credits
• Support on-site physical counts of inventory
• Allocate inventory and resources
• Coordinate supply chain operations
• Calculate and analyze inventory statistics
• Document inventory totals and discrepancies

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in inventory control, business management, supply chain or related field
• 2-3 years of related purchasing experience in inventory control or finance/business analysis
• Manufacturing environment related experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• SAP experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
• Ability to process and maintain invoices, files and records
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of base material markets and market pricing
• Excellent decision-making abilities and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and well-spoken vocabulary, and understanding of data analytics
• Ability to interpret organizational needs and global commercial strategies
