Seeking a System Engineer 1. This SE1 will require a good background in Puppet / Ansible, Linux engineering/administration and troubleshooting and the ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently (self-motivated). CentOS Linux EL7, Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF)) and System Security Plan (SSP) Management.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be  U.S. Citizens and  possess and active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Required Education & Years of Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Seven (7) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

Required Skills

• Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line, troubleshooting
• Windows Server
• SQL Scripting and Virtualization - VMWare
• Puppet Experience, or able to learn quickly
• SSP Support - scanning, patching, keeping documentation up to date and support ATO activities

Desired Skills

• Linux systems engineering/administration
• System integration/administration experience
• Ability to work independently/self-motivated
• Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)

Required Certifications

• CWIP Level I required to start; Level II required within 6 months
