Data Analyst

Length: 12 to 36 months

Location: Richmond, VA 

*** Hybrid Role, 2 -3 days in office

Experience: 4+ years

Rate: $44.50

Type: W2 Only

Key Skills:

• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or MIS is preferred.

Experience in Business & Data analysis with Data Mining/Data Warehouse Advanced Data Visualization, modeling, and simulation of Structured and unstructured data sources.

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Proficient with SQL, SQL Server, Python, VBA programming, Tableau and/or PowerBI, Some knowledge of AI/Machine Learning, Process Automation, Proficient with SharePoint and Microsoft Management tools Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.

Experience with agile development processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Provides complex analytical support and thought leadership to management. Analytical assignments typically vary and may include preparing complex reports and using data intelligence gathering to make informed conclusions on business practices.
2. Develop appropriate methodologies and procedures for collecting, storing, analyzing, and presenting data products that tell the story to the intended audience.
3. Performs data quality assessments and risk analysis to ensure data integrity.
4. Conducts complex data analyses and leads projects demonstrating areas of specialty that may include data collection, curation, business intelligence, creation and maintenance of metadata, statistical methodology, and data analysis and visualization or related areas
