Job description
General Responsibilities
Active participation in patient care including: rooming patients, taking blood pressures, performing EKGs, recording patient vitals in EPIC, setting up virtual appointments, ca medicine reconciliation, perform phlebotomy, including proper identification and handling of specimens. Performing other procedures as determined relevant to the individual patient and transport patient to ER, if needed. Accurately uses the Ambulatory Patient Tracking system. Maintenance of the Code Crash Cart maintenance daily checklist. Demonstrates a strong sense of shared responsibility to maintain a clean environment by ensuring exam rooms and phlebotomy area are clean and appropriately stocked with supplies daily. Demonstrates a strong sense of shared responsibility in maintaining clinical equipment, including EKG machines, daily transmission of EKG recordings, and monthly calibration of scales. Responsible for contacting Bio-Med for any broken machine or expired that is registered with the Bio-Medical Engineering department.Job tags
