Key Responsibilities:

- Originate high-quality loans in accordance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
- Cultivate and nurture strong business relationships with local real estate agents and builders, fostering mutual trust and collaboration.
- Manage a designated territory encompassing First National Bank Texas and First Convenience Bank locations, providing education on FCM mortgage programs to bank employees.
- Develop partnerships with management teams at partner store locations to promote mortgage services and drive business growth.
- Assist customers with loan applications, including credit assessment and verification.
- Conduct informative presentations, such as First-Time Home Buyer Seminars and realtor sales meetings, to enhance product awareness and support community engagement.
- Maintain proactive communication with borrowers and real estate agents throughout the loan process, ensuring transparency and responsiveness.
- Issue and clarify pre-qualification letters, disclosures, and initial compliance documentation, including Good Faith Estimates and Truth-in-Lending statements.
- Depending on location and operational needs, fulfill additional responsibilities such as office management duties, correspondence handling, and staff scheduling.
- Act as a liaison between local branches and corporate management, addressing office incidents, business requirements, and client inquiries as needed.
- Flexibility to travel as required to fulfill business obligations.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in mortgage origination.
- Proficiency in VA, FHA, and conventional mortgage loan programs.
- Familiarity with LP and DU underwriting systems.
- Experience using Ellie Mae mortgage originating and processing software preferred.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently from a home office environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret credit reports effectively.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in a commission-based compensation structure.
- Successful completion of background investigation in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

- Capable of maintaining a sitting or standing position for extended periods.
- Proficient in operating office equipment, including computers.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
