Job description

Researchers at Seattle Children’s are looking for individuals to assist with data collection for studies about physical activity. Individuals will be trained in two different observational data collection methods and primarily assist the research team with data collection offsite by observing schoolyards at middle and elementary schools around Tacoma and/or Seattle, WA. Data collection occurs on weekdays and weekends throughout April and on weekdays in May 2024. Individuals located near Tacoma are strongly encouraged to apply. There may be opportunities to get involved in other aspects of research.

Required Education/Experience:


Preferred:

- Data entry and word processing experience.

- Knowledge of medical terminology.

- Administrative experience in a research setting.

- Currently enrolled in college level courses at an accredited college or university.

$19.00 - $25.44 /hr
$39,520.00 - $52,915.20 /yr

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children’s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors .
