Job description

Our client, leading specialty chemicals manufacturer, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with global operations, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a general ledger position for somebody who is looking to expand their Accounts Receivable experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage 20% Accounts Receivable responsibilities with a strong phone presence, fostering trust with sales representatives.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, update Daily Cash, and handle journal entries, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with customers and sales teams, releasing credit holds and resolving related issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, with strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
