Job description
Lee's Summit Animal Hospital has been serving Lee's Summit and the surrounding area for over 70 years. We have a deep connection to the community. There is a fantastic sense of client loyalty and relationship present. Our location functions as a mixed animal, but predominantly companion animal practice. The practice is a busy, fast-paced environment which sees little seasonal fluctuation in business.
The clinic is staffed with an experienced team of registered veterinary technicians, assistants, and customer service representatives, most of which have been with us for many years.
Our facility is equipped with:
- Dual Surgical Suite
- Multiple inhalant anesthetic machines
- Digital Radiograph
- Dual Dental Suite with Dental Radiograph
- In-House Idexx Blood Machines
- Cardell Surgery Monitors
- Cold Laser Therapy
- Ultrasound and endoscope
- Large animal area with stock and stall
- Two ambulatory trucks with units
- Portable chute
- Portable ultrasound and radiograph units

Skills and Basic Qualifications
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
- Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
- Manages time and tasks appropriately.
- Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
- Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth
