Job Description
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.
Through knowledge of the current and future direction of clinical services lines, supports and participates in the development of Behavioral Health and Women's and Children clinical service line strategic planning.
Responsible for execution of the strategic plan, project planning, and facilitating implementation of programs and special projects that support high quality care through cross functional relationships with the clinical team, project management and decision support teams.
Responsible for integrating the UM SJMC's Behavioral Health and Women's and Children services across the continuum in collaboration with external agencies and groups that provide relevant services regionally.
With the marketing department, facilitates and operationalizes marketing strategies and monitors effectiveness of promotional and public relations efforts to pinpoint effective strategies and growth targets demonstrated by quality outcomes, market share growth, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
Promotes delivery of outreach programs and services by coordinating initiatives to enhance our advocacy role in the community. Engages clinical service line stakeholders, providers and team members to participate in community needs assessments, educational programs, population health tactics including but not limited to health screenings and promotion of overall health and wellness activities resulting in a clear/positive public image of services for physicians and the community
Collaborates closely in communication, coordination, and program implementation, with Patient Care Services, Patient Financial Services, Finance, Clinical Effectiveness, Facilities Management, etc., and other applicable departments/services. Demonstrates innovation in the development and implementation of cost reduction strategies for the clinical service lines.
Responsible for leading the Clinical Service Line Councils as well as meeting the expectations for deliverables in the advancement of the clinical service lines.
Serves as a highly effective liaison displaying high levels of teamwork, collaboration and communications between multiple internal and external stakeholders for the benefit of advancing the respective clinical service lines.
Qualifications

* * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administrations, or a related discipline. (Required)
* Master's Degree in Business or related field. (Required)
* 2 + years' experience in healthcare environment (Required), preferably clinical service line oversight, business development or strategic planning.
