Choice Schools Associates is currently seeking a dynamic and versatile full-time graphic designer to join our team. Our current graphic designer has been promoted, so we are looking to fill their role with a talented and motivated entry-level individual eager to contribute to our creative endeavors.

As the Graphic Design Specialist, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing the design, strategy, visual content direction, and overall execution of visual assets.
• Conceptualizing new design strategies that support and align with communication plans for recruitment and retention campaigns.
• Interacting with colleagues to understand their branding needs, preferences, and objectives, ensuring school satisfaction.
• Developing and executing an overarching brand/creative strategy for the schools and organization and overseeing the production of all materials related to that strategy.
• Ensuring design continuity and brand integrity across all marketing incentives for the purpose of furthering the schools' visual brand and purpose.
• Acting as a contributing member of the communications team who adds value to the marketing strategies and plans.

Essential Skills and Competencies : While we will consider a broad range of backgrounds, the ideal candidate would have the following qualifications/experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 0-2 years experience with a portfolio of work.
• Proficient skill level in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Intermediate experience with Google Suite.
• Very comfortable working in a Mac-based environment

Desired Qualifications

• Understanding of typography, color, composition, and concept.
• Knowledge of preparing artwork for use on digital and traditional platforms.
• Experience using MailChimp or other email marketing services is a plus.
• Proofreading skills.
• Have a go-getter attitude and strong work ethic.
• Dependable, punctual and honest.

Work Location : Flexible. The ideal candidate will be located in the Greater Grand Rapids area and can travel to our Central Office located at 5251 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509
