Salary Starting: $40,000, avg. 3% COLA annually, Life & ADD/LTD Insurance, 70% health insurance, holidays, vacation, sick, personal, birthday and other leave available.
Classification: Nonexempt, Full-Time
Reports to: Vice President
Date: February 2024

Summary/Objective: The Crime Commission, now in its 75th year as a nationally known public safety nonprofit, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its management team. Expectation Examples: The Administrative Assistant needs to be a trustworthy member of our team and possess multiple administrative skills including competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS, ZOOM and Adobe products.  Examples of other expectations could include:

  1. Crime Commission mission-oriented
  2. Excellent in-person, online and over the phone communication skills
  3. Excellent writing and editing skills

  6. Highly proficient in the use of computers and software, Excel essential
  7. Website admin competency
  8. Graphic design skills with knowledge of Adobe programs and Canva
  9. Social media expertise to promote events and programs of the Crime Commission
  10. Keynote and/or PowerPoint skills helpful
  11. Photography and videography skills helpful
