Ingram Marine Group encompasses our operating units involved in transporting bulk commodities on America's inland waterways, delivering fuel and supplies to the towing industry, and providing a ship anchorage in Louisiana. As the leading carrier, we operate a fleet that transport aggregates, grain, fertilizer, coal, ores, alloys, steel products, chemicals, and other products.
Ingram Barge Company is seeking a Barge Inspector to join our Barge Maintenance and Repair team. This Inspector role will primarily support our dry cargo and tank barge fleets and will be based in Houston, TX . Barge Inspectors evaluate the condition of barges and schedule repairs with the corresponding repair facility; doing what it takes to get our equipment back on the river where it belongs! Your work ensures our barges are in top-notch condition and keeps our business humming along smoothly for a seamless customer experience. This is a role for those with a focus on customer service and do not mind getting their hands dirty in the process!
