We are seeking a Finance Systems Administrator to join our team, focusing primarily on Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
In this role, you will be instrumental in maximizing the potential of our new ERP system by designing and configuring business processes and reporting mechanisms to enhance automation. You'll actively engage with stakeholders to understand organizational requirements, leveraging your expertise to develop technical solutions and implement best practices in data modeling, dashboards, and reporting.
Your responsibilities will include providing valuable analysis and reporting support to the FP&A team and Finance leadership, facilitating data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, test, and deploy Workday/Adaptive Planning solutions and reporting to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain modeling sheets for efficient long-range planning and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners to create agile, driver-based scenario planning and analysis tools.
- Ensure timely and accurate inputs to the cost allocation process and enable precise reporting and analysis of allocation results.
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports for Board of Directors and senior leadership.
- Uphold data integrity in Adaptive Planning and oversee system security roles.
- Provide comprehensive training to Finance staff to enhance user proficiency with Workday and Adaptive tools.
- Communicate solutions and processes effectively to business partners and assist in clarifying decision trade-offs.
- Proactively make recommendations based on data insights and analysis.
- Manage internal department MS Teams & SharePoint page.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: B.A. or B.S in Finance, Economics, or Business (MBA preferred).
- Minimum Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Required Skills:
- Previous experience with financial systems such as Workday and the Adaptive Planning module.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel and modeling, MS Office, and experience with Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and Financial principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
