Job description
Peraton requires a Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) Lead for the Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Activity (LEIA) Task Order at Camp H.M Smith, Hawaii in support of Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC). SOCPAC requires contractor services to provide a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) capabilities to facilitate SOCPAC missions.
SOCPAC requires flexible services including, but may not be limited to, Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) capabilities using air, surface, subsurface, space, and cyber platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. SOCPAC requires that these services continuously leverage the latest C5ISR technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure that platforms and intelligence operations provide optimal capabilities. SOCPAC requires these services to be performed primarily within the USINDOPACOM AOR, but ancillary and supporting activities may be performed globally.
SOCPAC is a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) under the United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and serves as the functional component for all special operations missions deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region. SOCPAC coordinates, plans, and directs all special operations in the Pacific theater supporting U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) as a sub unified command. The USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) is the priority theater for the Department of Defense (DoD), covering 51 percent of the globe and 60 percent of the world’s population.
The USINDOPACOM AOR is like no other geographic region. The region is culturally, socially, economically, and geopolitically diverse, with more than 35 nations comprising the Asia-Pacific region and is home to more than 3,000 different languages, and several of the world’s largest militaries. More than one third of Asia-Pacific nations are smaller, island nations, including the smallest republic in the world and the smallest nation in Asia.

Required qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6 years’ experience, including 2 years operational experience. A minimum of 5 years military operational PED experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree and experience combination
TS clearance with eligibility for SCI.
Proficient on all computer software applications centric to intelligence analysis to include, but not limited to M3, Analyst’s Notebook, Query Tree, Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE), government interagency databases, and Microsoft Office products. Maintains and accounts for material and equipment to the TS/SCI level
Qualified candidates will have diverse and hands-on intelligence analytic experience with a solid understanding of intelligence ingest including SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, ELINT, GEOINT, and FMV into Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) nodes, thoroughly understanding the PED analysis processes, with corresponding knowledge of dissemination media to warfighters in the field.
Knowledge of Operating Systems, Routers, Servers and Workstation configuration. Advising, assisting, and training on installing DVB-RCS and GBS full motion video system is required.
Familiarly with planning Satellite Communications, HF/VHF/UHF and Microwave Line of Site Communication networks. Designing and planning communications architectures to integrate various ISR platforms into the overall USFOR-A communications network.
Experience is required in System Administration, Network Administration and Infrastructure, and CAT V and fiber optic cable.
Certifications in Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNP, Information Assurance Computer Network Defense Levels, Information Assurance, Information Management, WAN/LAN, etc, will be considered.
Candidates must also exhibit leadership, teamwork, ingenuity, critical thinking, and initiative.
Desired qualifications:
An understanding of the Afghanistan Area of Responsibility (AOR) and/or Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) is a plus.
