The Nurse Director of Intensive Care Unit ICU and Emergency Room ER will work in a not-for-profit medical center that has served communities in the area for more than 100 years. The Director of Critical Care, Trauma and Emergency Department will join a team that strives to provide superlative care by focusing on patients’ needs by incorporating the latest, proven medical technology and attracting the best medical staff and affiliated physicians.
The Director of Critical Care Unit CCU and Emergency Department ED will be responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations in the critical care and step down units. The Director of Intensive Care Unit ICU and Emergency Room ER will manage the clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.
The Nurse Director of Critical Care Unit CCU and Emergency Department ED will collaborate with multiple professionals to support and coordinate the provision / management of patient care. The Nurse Director of Intensive Care Unit ICU and Emergency Room ER will report directly to the Chief Nursing Executive.
The Nurse Director of Emergency Department ED and Intensive Care Unit ICU will be the Nursing Leader of the ICU and has the ability to create and empower teams to embrace and implement change that will improve the clinical, operational, and financial performance. The Nurse Director of Critical Care Unit CCU and Emergency Room ER will be supported by skillful Nurse Managers, Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and Staff RNs.
