Program Coordinator
Work from Home with occasional visits to the Program Office
$17.00 per hour
Lancaster, PA
Searching for a passionate and caring individual to serve the children of Lancaster County with after school programs and resources.
This role would be ideal for someone who embodies servant leadership, loves working with children, has reliable transportation, and is available between 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday – Thursday.
In this role, you would…
- Provide leadership to afterschool and summer programs
- Hire, train, and support program staff
- Support the advancement of children
- Develop lesson plans and activities that are age appropriate
- Participate in meetings as needed
- Serve as a program ambassador to the community
- Visit the program offices 1-2 times per week
You would need…
- A High School diploma
- Be 21 years old or more
- To be available Monday to Thursday (Friday and weekends as needed)
- Skills in social media communication
- To work independently with little supervision
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office Suite)
- Reliable transport
- Pass a background check
It would be amazing (but not required) if you…
- Could speak conversational Spanish with the children and their families
- Have previous experience volunteering or working with communities
- Completed some college courses
In this position, you will receive training and support, mileage reimbursement, $50 internet allowance per month, and a laptop.
