Looking for an experienced Outside Sales candidate responsible for aggressively growing incremental Service Dept revenue and increasing market share . You will be tasked with selling Service Agreements and opening the door for Replacement Projects.
My client is a Full-Service Mechanical Contractor performing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects expanding in the NJ market. Capabilities include design, installation, and SERVICE of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration (HVAC/R), Plumbing, and Building Automation (ATC) systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC/BAS Sales
Skills Required:
- Prior sales experience in the HVAC/BAS industrial, commercial market
- Experience selling to facility managers, maintenance managers, facility engineers, property managers, etc. (the person who is the decision maker for HVAC maintenance and replacements)
- Strong Sales skills: 3-6 months average sales cycle, territory must be developed and nurtured
- Experience with cold calling and customer prospecting – relationship driven sales approach
- Organizational, planning, and presentation skills required
- Creative thinking and a flexible team player attitude
- Demonstrated working understanding of the customer relationship process and a record of mid to senior level customer contacts – B2B development sales experience
- Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills and be able to present complex business plans and topics (pricing or service strategies)
