Job description

- Build and plot the reservation book to optimize seat utilization and to ensure positive guest experience.
- Direct rest of Host staff to maintain high standards of service execution.
- Act to best resolve problems to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
- Ensure all information provided to guests and team members is current and accurate.
- Recognize regular and VIP guests and learn their seating preferences.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness & organization at the host station (always menus to stay clean, stay updated, current versions, organized based on different shifts.

- Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, managers, and fellow team members to ensure guests feel well taken care of
- Possess knowledge of the local area to provide relevant directions, recommendations, and resources to successfully fulfill guest requests.
- Maintain a constantly professional, friendly, and hospitable workspace.
- Successfully coordinating with Servers and assisting in service all needed guest’s information.
- Pull out chairs and present menus individually.
- Answers phone calls and provides information on reservations, availability, restaurant hours and services.
