Job Summary

The Department of Ophthalmology is hiring a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to help with our commitment to enhance patient care and comfort. As a valued member of our ophthalmology team, the ophthalmic assistant is responsible for assisting with all patient-oriented optical procedures, preparing patients for eye examinations, measure patients’ glasses, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments. As an assistant, the Department of Ophthalmology is dedicated to your growth and will help you to advance your career in ophthalmology.

Job Duties

Experience and Education

Compliance with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate enforced by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is a requirement for this position.
