Position : Media and Compliance Coordinator
Classification: Non- Exempt
Scope of Position: Provide onsite and digital support to the CareerLink ® Operator(s) and build compliance systems to ensure that all PA CareerLink ® customers have positive experiences. Work with leadership to establish and enact policies and best practices that meet local, state, and federal Equal Opportunity (EO) standards.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the local point of contact for PA CareerLink ® Management and staff regarding EO requirements, reporting, and customer inquiries
- Communicate with local workforce board EO officers regarding EOO initiatives
- Provide clear goals and expectations to all PA CareerLink ® staff regarding EO standards and implementation
- Suggest recommendations to resolve EO issues, customer grievances, accommodation requests and document appropriately to both PA CareerLink ® Operator and LWDB.
- Work closely with the ES Complaint System coordinator to ensure the smooth handoff of non ES-related complaints to the appropriate entity.
- Connect with the EDSI Talent Team and external partners to hold regularly scheduled training on topics such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, ADA Guidelines, Non-Discrimination, and Confidentiality
- Partner with Equal Opportunity Officer to complete EO compliance audits as necessary
- Promote cross-training with PA CareerLink ® staff and partner organizations regarding best practices for service delivery to their respective customers.
- Track and produce reports of staff who have attended professional development and equal opportunity related training.
- Ensure all PA CareerLink ® offices present appropriate signage in designated areas
- Complete and conduct regularly scheduled compliance audits and corresponding reporting
- Review and update all printed and electronic customer materials to ensure documents meet EO standards
- Collaborate with LWDB and PA CareerLink ® partners to ensure reasonable accommodations are available for all customers to access PA CareerLink ®
- Create and maintain a sustainable resource list of area colleagues who speak multiple languages for quality customer communication, along with updated language line information
- Inspect physical workspaces and equipment to maintain compliance with EO standards
- Assist local workforce board EO Officers and PA CareerLink ® Operator with developing and maintaining outreach plan including the development or enhancement of approaches for effective outreach to promote equitable access to services for all residents.
- Edit and post content to social media to promote services, events, and resources, while maintaining compliance with required taglines.
- Contribute to marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and engage customers
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability

Education and Experience Requirements :
- 2-5 years of human resources, training, and compliance/quality assurance experience highly preferred
- Bachelor degree in related field required
- 1-3 years of demonstrated social media expertise
- Experience with Canva, Constant Contact, or other mass marketing tools preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate experience in delivering high quality customer service
- Must be able to work independently and in a team setting
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Proven ability to analyze data and trends to make recommendations on improvement
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record required
