Responsibilities
Serves as the first point of contact with patient and employees in the collection of proper specimens for laboratory analysis. Works collaboratively with providers and staff from various departments, providing results that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and the promotion of wellness.
Qualifications
Minimum
+ High School Diploma/ GED
+ Previous phlebotomy experience or verification of the completion of a phlebotomy internship or phlebotomy training program
+ Basic computer literacy and proficiency
Preferred
+ Electronic Medical Records ( EMR ) or Cerner experience
+ National phlebotomy certification
Pay Range
$18.00 – $24.66 /hour
