We are looking for two (2) full time Indirect Lending Processors to join our growing team! This position is located at our Hendersonville location.

IS THIS POSITION FOR YOU?

We are looking for someone to provide support for the Indirect Lending program including opening membership accounts, loan processing, and clerical support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Be knowledgeable about indirect lending policies, procedures, and online indirect lending systems.
  2. Communicates with auto dealer contacts by phone and email to establish and maintain a clear communication in a friendly, professional manner. Works with auto dealers to resolve funding delays as soon as possible.
  3. Opens new memberships for indirect lending borrowers according to policy, verify and copy driver's licenses and other documents such as proof of address, as required.
  4. Processes loan documents from dealers to verify accuracy of information provided including personal information of the borrower and accuracy of loan documents.
  5. Funds loans via the online system and exports to core system. Maintenances the loan file as required for accuracy to complete the posting of the loan in the core system.
  6. Submits ACH wire transfers to the Operational Services Department or sends checks to pay loan proceeds to dealers.
  7. Completes all tasks in the online system including completing funding notices to dealers, processing adverse action notices, and processing loan documents.
  8. Images loan documents into the OnBase system according to established policies and procedures.
  9. Processes loan postings, file maintenances accounts, and makes other corrections, as necessary.
  10. Follows up on outstanding titles of indirect loans. Processes GAP, extended service contracts, and ancillary product cancellations for credit union recovery purposes, as directed by the Indirect Lending Manager. Works with auto dealers to obtain the refunds due to CFCU in a timely manner.
  11. Assists the Indirect Lending Manager with reports, list maintenance, file maintenance, and other support functions as needed.
  12. Assists other staff with questions on Indirect Lending.
  13. Performs other duties as requested.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or specialized financial services training preferred. Computer skills are required with experience in Microsoft Word.

Experience

Minimum one year of clerical support required. Loan processing and loan experience is desired.

Physical, mental and visual requirements

The duties of this position require accurate visual observation for computer work. Excellent verbal and audio communication skills are needed to communicate with staff and indirect dealers. Many of the duties of this position are performed while seated for extended periods of time. The volume and nature of the duties of this job require the physical and mental stamina to withstand occasional periods of high stress and meet required deadlines.

Supervision Needs

All work should be performed with a minimal amount of supervision.

PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be professional, courteous, and efficient. Must have a high degree of integrity with good independent judgement skills. Must possess a high degree of accuracy and be detail oriented with good organizational skills. Must be able to function as a team player and cooperate with co-workers, members, and business associates.
