Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- On Site
Day to Day Activities: - Conduct assessments of the adolescent’s needs and completes written psychosocial and brief initial treatment plans.
- Provides trauma informed individual, family, and group therapy to youth receiving extensive clinical and psychiatric services in a residential group home setting.
- Implements and supervises the provision of all prescribed services for youth in care; developing, locating, or providing service as needed.
- Conduct life skills and anger management training.
- Assures that each youth attends and obtains documentation for all necessary medical appointments.
- Represents the youth and the agency in-person or through written reports at all meetings to include court hearings, school, and other social/community events.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Need Bachelors or Masters of Social Work and need to be licensed in Maryland
- At least one year of professional experience (internship or professional)
- Experience in a social work or a mental health setting
- Excellent Communicator
