Position Summary:

Rutgers University- Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Sr Program Coordinator. This position reports to the Director for the Center of Supply Chain Management. The Center requires a highly
organized person with the ability to work independently developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective corporate advisory board members. The Center is the backbone for our highly ranked SCM program for both campuses. The Center provides strategic growth direction and support for all aspects of our program. The primary responsibility for this role is to act as liaison for the Center. As sole contact person, the Sr. Program Coordinator will interface with all corporate executives. Acting as the face of the Center, this person will be the main point of contact for all SMC prospective and current corporate partners.

This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:

• Recruitment of new companies, handling all requests for information, managing recruitment among students, and facilitating potential research projects and grants.
• Arrange and participate in both campus visits for prospective parties as well as arrange and participate in meetings between the Dean and prospective candidates.
• Preparing, designing and presenting powerpoint presentations and/or similar forms of presentations, regarding an overview of the Center, to prospective members and C-suite executives.
• Such presentations require researching applicable data to target and recruit prospective members of an Advisory Board.
• Also requires a high degree of professionalism providing exceptional customer service to C-suite executives.
• Plan, execute and participate in all Center events, including but not limited to approximately a dozen (per school calendar year) career expos, certificate programs, symposiums, board meetings, case competitions and conferences.
• Plan and maintain marketing initiatives using print, email, video and social media among other appropriate and relevant sources.
• Travel among regional campuses is required as well as flexibility in arranging work hours around attending weekend events as well as early morning or late evenings.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of program design and execution, coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
• Also requires a minimum of two to five years of relevant experience either in university
  administration or industry experience in supply chain management or executive support.
