About the Job:

School Schedule, Daytime Hours, Weekends & Summers Off.

School Nurse RN:
We are searching for Registered Nurses (RN) to treat students’ illnesses and injuries, along with providing quality care for students of all ages from Elementary to High school. To be a successful school nurse, you must be knowledgeable in principles and practices underlying professional nursing. You will also need to remain up to date with current trends in the specialized field of school health. Positions are in the greater Cincinnati area.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be looking for a true work-life balance, as well as a pathway to work for the City of Cincinnati, to enjoy outstanding benefits! Weekends off, holidays off, and summers off.

Job Summary:

• Position: School Nurse - RN.
• Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (depending on the school district).
• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour.

Requirements:

• 2 years of field experience.
• Must pass Pre-Employment Background Check
• Must pass FBI/BCI Fingerprint.
• Covid-19 Vaccination.
• Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Test.
• BLS Certification.
• Valid RN License.

 

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing existing resources to provide appropriate healthcare to students and staff.
• Assessing the status of student and staff immunization documentation, when necessary.
• Completing medical paperwork.
• Maintain Clinical Records.
