Fun-loving .....individuals are needed to lead the Village of Orland Park Recreation Camp team throughout this Camp Season! Catering to the protection, safety, and enrichment of our young enrollees is the #1 focus in this exciting role as Assistant Site Director!   

Assist the Day Camp Program Coordinator with:

• the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities
• special events to meet program needs of our summer day camp
• day-to-day supervision of the camp staff and participants
• motivating staff and encouraging creative idea sharing that focuses on continual improvement of programming

The perfect candidate will possess.....

• High school diploma (Some related College Credit highly preferred)
• minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in recreation/education field
• excellent communication skills
• organizational skills
• passion for working with school age children
• valid driver's license 
• CPR/AED/FA certifications

An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of related supervisory experience is preferred. 

This position must be available to work Monday through Friday throughout the summer programming season from June through mid-August from 9am - 3pm. Some early mornings required. Weekly planning hours beginning in mid-April.
